Whaaat? I know what coffee is but the first word is a bit weird-looking. I have this awful feeling that it doesn’t entail pleasant things. I was looking at other coffee blogs and saw Lisabeen’s post on colon-cleansing coffee and found out about how this special coffee can function as an enema. Got an idea what it means now?
Enema
1 : the injection of liquid into the intestine by way of the anus 2 : material for injection as an enema.
Eeeew! On the other hand, it is supposed to do wonders for your health. For some reason, though, I am not particularly attracted by the idea. Then again, why am I posting this? Perhaps deep in my mind, I am actually intrigued by what enema coffee can do. I visited the site Optimal Health Network, which is a proponent of enema coffee. According to the enema coffee page:
The coffee enema detoxifies the liver, as well as cleans the colon. Coffee stimulates the liver to make more bile. Bile, from the gallbladder draws out environmental and metabolic toxins, as well as the very irritating toxins from Candida albicans and other parasite-like organisms. The colon is the organ responsible for carrying away these toxins. In addition, coffee enemas stimulate the liver to produce enzymes that clean the blood. Coffee enemas also assist the colon to develop better function.
Ok – all that sounds positive and healthy. But can’t coffee function in the same way if I merely drink 5 cups a day???
