Finally! You’ve moved into your own place. Every last box has been unpacked and every last dish put in the cabinets. Now you just need to have the house warming.
No problem about the food. You love to cook! If you feel lazy, you can always order in and transfer everything onto your new china. Better hunt up the coffee maker. Some of the guests may want a cup to cap the meal.
As the perfect host, you will want to have decaf available as an option though your friends and family will understand if you don’t have any. If there’s even one coffee shop near to where you live, please don’t offer instant coffee. It is a special occasion and this calls for a special brew.
Don’t worry if you aren’t too familiar with what to buy. The first thing you need to do is make sure that your coffee maker is working fine. The next thing you need to do is walk over to the nearest coffee shop.
Don’t be shy about asking for help from the people at the counter. It usually helps if you tell them that you are looking for an after dinner coffee. If they are good sales people, they will make the time to help you make your selection.
Make sure to clean the coffee maker well. Any residue from old brews will definitely spoil your fresh pot. That would finish the night alright, but not the way you planned. Worst case scenario just ask everyone out for a cup of steaming hot coffee.
Most important: relax and enjoy the company.
