Coffee, delicious aromatic coffee, isn’t just a drink. Coffee is a connection between people. Coffee is all about the moments of everyday life.
Think about it. When you’re meeting someone for the first time, on a first date, you’ll normally suggest you meet over coffee. If you like him you can then invite him out again. If you don’t, at least you aren’t stuck with each other through a torturous meal. Coffe is your life saver.
If you have dinner with someone and it turns out well, you can close the night with a delicious cup of home brewed coffee. It closes your date perfectly and you can linger a bit getting to know each other better over the steaming cups.
Then there are those days when you meet up with the girls. What could be better than some shopping and some catch up over some latte? You could be in the middle of a completely crowded room, but the coffee makes you feel like you’re right at home, just hanging out with your girls.
Even TV shows can’t escape it. Coffee and cafes are central to friendships. Just look at “Friends”. The Central Perk has been a hangout of the group and their fans for the ten seasons “Friends” was on the air, plus a few years more due to re-runs.
Maybe it’s the warmth that coffee brings. There’s just something about the aroma, the taste, maybe the flavor that gets everyone comfortable and relaxed. It makes you feel like no matter where you go in the world, you will always have a place to go where there are friends.
